Nation Ranks: Permissions & Commands
Build alliances, recruit new towns, manage taxes and guide your nation. Learn what each of MineKai’s seven Nation Ranks unlocks — including the commands you can use and the permissions you inherit.
Seven assignable nation roles. One shared administration system. Based on MineKai's Towny rank configuration.
🌍 How Do Nation Ranks Work?
A nation brings multiple towns together. Its leader can assign Nation Ranks to residents of member towns to share responsibilities such as inviting new towns, diplomacy, military coordination, banking and administration. Nation Ranks do not replace a town's own ranks.
Become a Nation Member
Residents of member towns receive basic nation information, chat, travel and deposit permissions.
Receive a Nation Role
Help recruit towns, coordinate alliances, manage the treasury or lead nation projects.
Inherit More Authority
Higher positions receive the configured permissions of every preceding role.

Can an Envoy force another town into the nation?
No. An Envoy can invite towns; joining still depends on the invited town’s leadership and Towny membership rules.
Can a Diplomat withdraw money from the nation bank?
No. Diplomat manages alliances and enemies. Nation bank withdrawals are available starting at Chancellor.
Can General appoint Chancellor?
No. General can appoint Captain and the junior ranks. Councilor can appoint Chancellor; Viceroy can appoint every assignable rank.
Does a Chancellor keep military permissions?
Yes. Chancellor inherits General and Captain permissions, including the configured SiegeWar nodes, if SiegeWar is active.
Can Viceroy delete a nation?
Not with Viceroy permissions alone. The King has separate nation-leader permissions.
Do nation ranks give a town more claimable chunks?
No. Nation Ranks are player permissions. Townblock bonuses come from nation levels and Towny land-limit settings, not from Envoy, General or Viceroy.
